GeoLINK has recently appointed four new employees, further strengthening the Company’s goal of becoming a ‘consultant of choice’ for our clients.
- Ross Nimmo, Senior Civil Design Engineer
- Jarrod Connell, Junior Civil Design Engineer
- Jacob Sickinger, Environmental Planner
- Kim Lindsay, Office Coordinator.
Ross Nimmo has over 10 years’ experience working as a professional Engineer in both the public and private sectors. He has managed a range of projects for both private and public sectors. This has included working on all phases of infrastructure projects from feasibility studies, through to detailed design and construction. Having managed projects from design through to completion, Ross has a very practical understanding of civil construction which he applies to developing cost effective engineering solutions.
Jarrod Connell has recently joined GeoLINK bringing with him over five years’ experience working in the civil/surveying field. Jarrod has experience in subdivision design from conception through to completion, interpretation and setup of various infrastructure plans and is a skilled AutoCAD technician, having setup and amended drawing sheet sets for overhead and underground electrical distribution.
Jacob Sickinger joined GeoLINK in April 2010 as an Environmental Planner. Following four and a half years in Melbourne where he, not only took the big leap into holy matrimony, but worked for Yarra City Council (one of Victoria’s most diverse and busiest planning departments), he recently re-joined GeoLINK in February 2017. He has worked on a variety of planning and environmental projects in both the public and private sectors. Jacob’s skills and knowledge will, not only complement, but will bring youth to GeoLINK’s existing senior planners and environmental consultants.
Kim Lindsay joined GeoLINK in 2016, bringing with her over 30 years’ experience working in a Local Government environment in a number of administrative assistant and technical officer roles.
As GeoLINK’s Office Coordinator, the “the face” of GeoLINK sitting at our reception desk, Kim’s commitment to developing positive relationships with customers and her penchant for organisation, eye for detail, positive and personable nature, and ability to perform, even in a “pressure cooker” environment, will be an asset to our organisation.
A specific personal interest of Kim’s includes proofreading. Her extensive knowledge in managing large documents, from formatting to finalising, will be an advantage for our multi-disciplinary company given the diverse range of projects she’ll be involved in.
Please join GeoLINK in extending a warm welcome to the newest members of our team.
