Ballina Bypass Environmental Services
Client: Ballina Bypass Alliance
The Ballina bypass is a $640M project to upgrade a 16 km section of the Pacific Highway. GeoLINK has provided environmental services to the Ballina Bypass Alliance (BBA) since mid-2011. One of our environmental engineers, Duncan Thomson, is seconded to the project as the Environment Manager and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating environmental management. In addition, our ecologists undertake the ecological assessments required for the project, including pre-clearing surveys and threatened species surveys. We have also assisted BBA with the preparation of environmental assessments and consistency assessments.
