Curtis Island Environmental Auditing
Client: Coe Drilling Pty Ltd
Coe Drilling won the contract to provide water and sewer pipelines to connect Curtis island to the mainland at Gladstone, central Queensland. The project is part of the construction of a multi-million dollar LNG project at Curtis Island.
Coe Drilling are contructing an ‘underbore’ where the pipeline will be located approximately 40m under the seabed of Gladstone Harbour.
GeoLINK’s Environmental Auditor, Rob van Iersel, is engaged to carry out monthly inspections of the works, to audit against the approvals and Environmental Management Plans adopted for the project. Rob’s work is assisting to ensure that the project is undertaken with minimal impact on the sensitive harbour eco-system.
