Sean Cochran, together with Suzie Coulston from Kyogle Council, will be presenting at the Northern NSW PIA Regional Seminar on Friday, 27 November 2020.
The theme for the Seminar is “Community Growth, Planning for Health, Open Space and Bushfire Recovery”.
Sean and Suzie’s presentation will cover the Kyogle Bushfire Recovery Project and Council’s experience in assisting residents of Paddy Flat to rebuild after the 2019 bushfires. The session covers the complexities of coordinating emergency funding processes, development design, the interplay between various stakeholders and sensitivities of working with people recovering from a significant traumatic event.
