GeoLINK moved into regional NSW the middle of last year, opening an office in Armidale with Simon Williams at the helm. To assist with GeoLINKs expansion into regional NSW and QLD, a new senior environmental engineer, David Howley, has been appointed to join Simon in the Armidale office, starting on 29 February.
David has 20 years’ experience in the civil, environmental and earthmoving fields in advisory, planning, designing, contractor management and construction of soil and water conservation projects. His most recent position as Northern Regional Manager of the NSW Soil Conservation Service allowed David to specialise his consulting services. He has worked across many landscapes, spanning east and west of the divide within NSW and QLD. He has significant experience in the management of sensitive environmental projects, river systems, contaminated sites and varied landscape projects at sub-catchment and catchment level. David resides in Armidale and is passionate about regional centres and has a strong desire to see them flourish.
