About this project

GeoLINK provides advisory and planning approval services for the redevelopment of three regional hospitals in NSW.

As part of the NSW Government’s record $10.8 billion investment in health infrastructure over four years to 2024-2025, redevelopments will be delivered for communities in Moree, Gunnedah and Glen Innes.

GeoLINK is on board as Planning and Approval Advisors for all three hospital projects. Health Infrastructure (HI) has engaged GeoLINK to provide advice on town planning matters and to prepare the impact assessment reports.

Our town planning expertise in the hospital sector sets us apart from our competitors. Having delivered on a number of other challenging infrastructure projects, our clients are reassured the advice and knowledge we bring to the table will benefit their project.

Project overview
Gunnedah this significant redevelopment of Gunnedah Hospital unveiled its masterplan in March 2022. This includes the construction of a new health services building and full refurbishment of an existing building providing enhanced facilities and services to meet the region’s healthcare needs now and into the future.

Moree The redevelopment draft masterplan includes a new clinical services building on the existing hospital site to house services including an emergency department, imaging, operating theatres, birthing suites and an inpatient unit. There will also be complete refurbishment of the existing inpatient building to provide community and outpatient services.

Glen Innes In February 2022 the NSW Government announced an additional funding boost, on top of initial funding for the Glen Innes Hospital Upgrade. The redevelopment will provide patients, families and carers a modern facility to meet the health needs of the community now and into the future. It will also offer a more culturally appropriate environment to improve access for all population groups.
