About this project
GeoLINK efficiently delivers a large program of social and road infrastructure projects.
Over an 18 month period, we’ve partnered with the City of Coffs Harbour (City) to help deliver a significant program of social infrastructure and road infrastructure projects. What began as support on a handful of projects has grown into involvement across approximately 40 projects, reflecting the City’s trust in our team and our ability to respond efficiently to evolving needs.
Our role has been to provide practical, end to end support across planning, environmental assessment, design, and engineering. By integrating these services, we have helped the City streamline processes, manage workloads, and keep critical projects moving forward.
A flexible and multi-disciplinary approach
A key strength we’ve brought to this partnership is flexibility. Council projects often vary in scope, complexity, and urgency, and our team has adapted to meet those changing demands.
We’ve supported projects ranging from community focused infrastructure through to essential road upgrades, providing:
- Biodiversity advice and assessments
- Environmental planning and approvals
- Engineering input and design coordination
- Environmental impact assessments

Environmental Assessments and REF expertise
A major component of the work has been delivering Environmental Assessments (EA) and Review of Environmental Factors (REF). These services have been critical in ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements while minimising environmental impact.
Our experience in this area has allowed us to:
- Efficiently prepare and manage REF documentation
- Identify environmental risks early and provide practical mitigation strategies
- Work closely with the City to ensure compliance without unnecessary delays
- Support a wide range of projects
