Veronica is a senior ecologist and environmental planner as well as bushfire planning specialist.
Ecology and environmental services
Veronica specialises in:
- flora and fauna field surveys
- ecological monitoring
- environmental impact assessment
- vegetation management plans
- threatened species monitoring plans
- review of environmental factors and statement of environmental effects.
Bushfire planning
Veronica specialises in bushfire hazard assessment and has completed several short courses and bushfire modelling workshops in addition to her formal qualifications in bushfire protection. She is particularly interested in balancing potential ecological impacts with proposed bushfire protection measures and bushfire management plans.
Veronica possesses high level project-management skills, developed through working with a broad range of public and private sector clients on challenging environmental projects. Having project-managed a variety of bushfire, ecological and planning projects; she has significant skills in liaison and the management of multidisciplinary teams.
Veronica is an accredited Biodiversity Assessment Method Assessor, a Registered Planner, holds a Bushfire Planning and Design – Level 2 accreditation and is a Certified Environmental Practitioner.
