About this project

In September 2020, the new $48 million Tabulam Bridge opened to the public. The new 290 metre long concrete bridge, is situated in Tabulam, NSW and crosses the Clarence River. The project is part of the Bridges for the Bush program to improve road safety and traffic efficiency.

Transport for NSW engaged GeoLINK to provide a variety of environmental and ecological services. Our multidisciplinary team provided the following services to assist with the construction of the new Tabulam Bridge:

  • Construction Environmental Management Plan and sub plans including extraction licence
  • Environmental Work Method Statement
  • Soil conservation advice, erosion and sediment control plans, Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control inspections, revegetation advice
  • Soil sampling and testing
  • Water monitoring
  • Ecological advice and fauna relocation services
  • Environmental site representative.
