GeoLINK prepared a Pandanus Translocation Plan and Environmental Management Plan for the redevelopment of the Shelley Beach Café which led to bush regeneration work on the dunes at Shelly Beach. During these bush regeneration works, the threatened plant, Brush Sophora (Sophora fraseri) was found.  It is a small sparsely branched shrub and grows to one to two metres tall with yellow flowers. It is listed as vulnerable under both state and federal legislation.

GeoLINK is working with Council to apply for a licence to collect seed and propagate this threatened plant so that more of these plants can be replanted into the dune area.
